Grow your own Green Onions

Green onion pancake, green onions as a topping, green onion left and right. But wait! Right before you decide to toss out the stock instead of throwing it in the garbage (though hopefully the compost bin) why not consider bringing them back to life?

Ingredients:

• Green Onions

• Water

Tools:

• Cup or Small Pot

Instructions:

1. Utilize the top of the green onion for any other recipe, cutting only up to where the green becomes white

2. With the remainder of the stem, plant the white stem bunch in a cup

3. Fill the cup with water till the stems are covered ¾ of the way

4. Leave the cup near somewhere sunny and watch them grow within the next few days!

5. After they’ve grown a bit more you can even consider rehoming them into your backyard or small garden!
